Mid-Year Forum Overview

The 2010 Mid-Year Forum was held from April 21-24 in Washington, DC.  View the MYF Report.

Plan now to join us in Washington, DC next year for the 2011 Mid-Year Forum which will be held from April 6-9. 

Continue the discussion about MYF by joining the MYF Group via the Academy's new online community. 

This annual forum (PDF 99K) provides an opportunity for Academy leaders and leaders of allied ophthalmic organizations to identify and discuss critical issues facing ophthalmology.

Congressional Advocacy Day
Advocacy Day 2010 was held April 21 to 22 in conjunction with the Mid-Year Forum. During Congressional Advocacy Day, Academy members were educated about legislative issues relevant to the Academy and the ophthalmic profession. Academy members met with their U.S. senators and representatives to present the concerns and positions of the Academy and the profession.
