The Foundation of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, is funded through charitable contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Your tax-deductible gift will be used to support our mission of advancing ophthalmic education in order to provide the best possible eye care for the public.

Ways to Give
There are several ways to make a gift to the Academy Foundation. Choose the donation method that best suits your needs.

Year End Giving
Year-end is a great time for giving. When you make a donation by December 31 to the Academy Foundation, you aren't just making a monetary contribution – you’re perpetuating your own values and those of the Academy Foundation’s.

Major Contributions for Ophthalmic Education
The Academy Foundation wishes to acknowledge those Academy members who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing lifelong ophthalmic education by contributing a lifetime minimum of $25,000 in support its educational mission.
